ACS eBooks Education Collection

APSU now has access to over 100 eBooks in the American Chemical Society (ACS) Education Collection

The ACS eBooks for Education package provides information across many topics that are necessary to ensure a high-quality science education. With feedback from subscribers and the ACS Committee on Chemical Education, a special collection of 100 titles was selected that will help science educators plan their curriculum, setup experiments, construct engaging demonstrations, evaluate performance, and ensure their efforts serve diverse genders, abilities/disabilities, and cultures.

A sample of topics include:
Undergraduate Teaching Strategies (14 eBooks),  Engaging Scientists and the Public (13 eBooks), Increasing Diversity (12 eBooks), History of Science (12 eBooks), Sustainability/Green Curriculum (10 eBooks),  Increasing Student Engagement (10 eBooks), Undergraduate Teaching with Instruments (4 eBooks), Career Advice (2 eBooks) , Lab Safety (2 eBooks), Undergraduate Teaching Research (7 eBooks), and Approaches to Undergraduate Research (5 eBooks)

View the Excel spreadsheet below for a full list of titles.  You may access these titles by searching for a specific title in the Austin Library Catalog or by searching the ACS Symposium Series eBooks portal listed below (please note that APSU does not have access to all the eBook titles in the Symposium Series-only the specific titles in the Education collection).
