Social Explorer: U.S. Census Data

Description:

The current shutdown in Washington is limiting the access that scholars and researchers have to vital materials, including the US Census website.

To that end, Oxford University Press and the Social Explorer team will open up access to Social Explorer<http://www.socialexplorer.com/> - the premier US Census demographics website - for the next two weeks. Social Explorer offers users Census data from 1790 to 2010 and American Community Survey data from 2005 to 2012.

1.  Click on "Log IN"  

2.  Choose "Log in with Institutional Username/Password" option  

3.  Enter the following for authentication:

Children's Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD): Description and Access

Description:

CLCD is an ever growing online database with over 400,000 reviews, MARC records and related information about children's literature. CLCD contains reviews supplied by over 38 quality review media.

With a subscription to the Children's Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD) you have access to:

The subscription provides unlimited access both on/off campus based in your IP address range. A new feature that is included is the direct link from CLCD to your OPAC.

The price less the current 10% discount is $805.50 for your initial subscription year.
