English 1020: Find Books

This guide is designed to help you find academic sources for your English 1020 papers, as well as assist you in correctly citing your sources in MLA style.

Call Numbers (for locating books or videos in the library's collections)

Books are located on the 3rd floor above the main lobby level.

A useful strategy is to browse call number ranges. 

  • Books about literature begin with call numbers "PN - PZ." 
    • For example, books about English drama by period are found in PR 621 - 744.

The Writing Center is located on the main floor of the Library, just past the Research Assistance Desk.

The Center provides FREE writing support to APSU students.  Tutors work one-on-one with students on any paper.
