Heading out into the career world? Hear from someone who's been there. If you're a senior starting to feel those graduation jitters or a underclassman wondering what happens after college, join the Woodward Library and Dr. Mary Rice on March 27, 2024 from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm for the first ever Felix G. Woodward Library Alumni Lecture Series.

Dr. Rice, who graduated from APSU herself and teaches in the Nursing program on campus, will talk about her own experiences transitioning from student to young professional. She'll discuss coping with anxiety around graduation, overcoming early career setbacks, and share tips to set yourself up for success.

Since Dr. Rice has walked in your shoes she is a wonderful resource for learning more about the transition from APSU to the job market after college. This is your change to hear about the highs and lows from someone on the other side who gets it. You'll be able to ask Dr. Rice all your burning questions during our question and answer session after her talk.

Representatives from the APSU Career Services Center will also be present to field any career-related questions and talk to you about the services they offer here on campus.

So join us at the Felix G. Woodward library in room 232 on March 27th for an inside look at life after college from an APSU alum. Whether you're feeling hopeful, nervous, or somewhere in between about the future, Dr. Rice's insights will give you a boost of inspiration and practical advice. See you there!
