In celebration of National Library Week (April 23 - 29, 2023), we are offering two book folding workshops where we will be making a beautiful heart design using the pages of a book!
Tuesday, April 25, 2023: 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. Woodward Library, Room 232
Wednesday, April 26, 2023: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Woodward Library, Room 232
Book folding art is a unique and fascinating craft that involves carefully folding the pages of a book to create a three-dimensional design. It's a great way to repurpose old or unwanted books, and the end result is a stunning piece of art that you can display in your home or give as a gift.
During the workshop, our experienced instructor will guide you through the process step-by-step, and you'll have plenty of time to practice and perfect your folding technique. The workshop is FREE! We'll provide all the materials, including the books. No prior experience is necessary, and all skill levels are welcome.
There are limited seats available, so be sure to register early on PeayLink to secure your spot. This is a great opportunity to learn a new skill, meet new people, and celebrate National Library Week in a creative and meaningful way. We hope to see you there!
