What you should learn as you research and write about literary topics

  • Demonstrate that you are able to recognize, find, and use scholarly, peer-reviewed journal articles, books, and book chapters by including only these sources in your completed assignment;

  • Demonstrate that you are able to to cite different types of sources by correctly citing all sources used in MLA style in your completed assignment;

  • Demonstrate that you are able to distinguish among biographical information, reviews, and literary criticism; and

  • Demonstrate that you are able to distinguish among primary, secondary, and tertiary literary sources.
